August 4th would start off as any other day for most of us, but for Caitlin and Michael it was the day that would begin the rest of their lives together—officially!
Most brides dream of a sunny day free of inclement weather but for Caitlin and Michael, it rained and rained all day. When I arrived at Old Town Farm I was nervous about how the ceremony would be affected, but Caitlin was happy regardless and wanted her ceremony outside, bubble umbrellas in-hand. (And can you blame her? Look at that venue!) It ended up being the perfect evening and cleared up right as we captured these sunset photos.
The couple’s love of country line dancing runs deep and their ceremony was complete with country music and little country details throughout the day. During their first look, Michael teared up—something that still melts my heart to this day. He was so excited to see her lace-adorned boots.
The ceremony was beautiful. The venue is unique here in New Mexico with a country/farm feel. You’d never guess it’s right in the heart of the city. And we can’t forget about the food. Tucanos catered and it was sublime—the perfect way to fill our stomachs after an incredible day.
Congratulations, Caitlin and Michael! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your beautiful day!
