Cathleen and Chris were married on the most perfect October day at El Verde Inn, and honestly… it was everything a fall wedding should be warm, intentional, and full of heart.
These two met on Hinge, and as Cathleen shared, it didn’t take long after their first date to realize they had found their forever person. That sense of certainty and calm showed up in every part of their wedding day.
Before they told anyone their plans, they spent time dreaming up a celebration that felt intimate, peaceful, and personal. And that’s exactly what they created.
They chose to get married in their hometown of Albuquerque, bringing together their closest family and friends at the newly remodeled boutique El Verde Inn, tucked alongside a beautiful golf course.
October in New Mexico always shows off a little, and this day was no different. The golden light, crisp air, and relaxed setting made everything feel easy and romantic.
Every detail of their day felt meaningful nothing was done just for the sake of tradition. It was all intentional.
There was live music performed by close friends, custom watercolor artwork created as gifts for guests, and florals and décor lovingly put together by Cathleen’s own family. They even wove in subtle Taylor Swift references (which we absolutely loved) and served signature cocktails that perfectly matched their vibe.
It felt less like a production and more like the most beautiful gathering of the people who mean the most to them.
Some of our favorite parts of the day were the quiet, in between moments the deep breaths before the ceremony, the soft smiles they exchanged when they thought no one was watching, the way their people surrounded them with so much love.
It was romantic and emotional, yes! but it was also joyful, relaxed, and genuinely fun.
Cathleen and Chris, your wedding day was the most beautiful start to your marriage adventure. We are so honored to have captured it.
One of my favorite things to do when I was a kid was take photos and document my life. I received a disposable camera when I was 8 and always had one after.
I'm obsessed with Florals, gardening and ANTIQUING
